The Role
Bloomberg Television is hiring a Producer, Digital Media Operations.
In this position, the Producer will be responsible for identifying,
editing, processing, publishing and curating Bloomberg digital video
content on our ever growing roster of consumer-facing multi-media
platforms. The Producer will ensure newsworthy and timely content
execution and delivery from multiple sources including Bloomberg TV,
original video production, Bloomberg Businessweek, and more in a 24
hour, breaking news environment. The Producer will work closely with
content creators and platform owners to match new video inventory and
archival material with daily news trends. This position will require
the ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and
on-call.
Qualifications:
-Bachelors degree
-2-5 years of recent and relevant hands on experience working with
digital video, web and other digital workflows. Experience at a major
media platform or news operation preferred.
-Working knowledge of end to end video production including editing,
formats, transcoding, IP delivery, and troubleshooting.
-Experience writing compelling headlines and descriptive copy, as well
as the ability to package video content to enable high user engagement
is required.
-Experience, understanding and passion for financial and business news
are preferred.
-Ability to work a variety of shifts including nights, weekends and
on-call is required.
