Executive Assistant Position: '
The Elie Wiesel Foundation for Humanity seeks a full-time Executive Assistant. The Executive Assistant will manage all administrative functions including but not limited to donor database and contact management, answering phones, overseeing file management and record keeping, office management, and assisting bookkeeping and accounting. The EA serves as a liaison to the Foundation's vendors and program partners, and works with the Foundation's Board of Directors to schedule meetings and attend to Board member needs as they arise. The EA acts as the coordinator for The Elie Wiesel Prize in Ethics Essay Contest and is the main point of contact for running this national program. Seasonally, the EA also supervises Foundation interns.
The Executive Assistant must be detail-oriented, efficient, skilled in Microsoft Office programs and applications, comfortable with technology and troubleshooting, possess strong writing skills and the ability to multi-task. A pleasant and professional personality, poised phone manner, and maturity to interact with high-profile persons and handle sensitive information are required.
Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree and at least 1 - 2 years of previous administrative experience. Salary will be based on experience. Benefits are available.The Elie Wiesel Foundation's offices are located in New York City, in Manhattan's Midtown East neighborhood, near Central Park.
