Sadly Mike Henley died yesterday  at the age of 46  - 

Mike was diagnosed at age 35 with early onset Alzheimer's disease. He lost his mom to Alzheimer's when she was in her 50's and his brother in his 40's.  His two children have a 1 out of 2 chance of coming down with this disease.  There are over 250,000 people with early onset Alzheimer's disease in this country.

His wife, Karen and his two children took care of him for 11 years at home. The last couple of years. Mike was in hospice at home.  Karen has also become a national advocate for the Alzheimer's Association in its fight to find a cure, as well as the State and local level.  You can not meet a more loving family.

Mike and his family were featured on Family Comes First which can be seen on www.familycomesfirsttv.com and on Newsday - several times.

A cure must be found.  

May he and his family be in our prayers.
