Below is a summary of the latest BLS jobs report, which was released this morning:
 
·         The U.S. economy added 200,000 new jobs in December
·         The unemployment rate fell to 8.5 percent in December, the lowest rate since March 2009
·         The private sector has gained 1.9 million jobs over the past 12 months
·         The unemployment rate for college-degreed workers 25 and older is 4.1 percent
