[Fredslist] Gotham State Champ!

That's an amazing (and awesome) accomplishment.  My son made it to the
semi-finals in regionals, which is nice.  But State Champ!!  That's
really something.  

 

My son tells me that there are several "nationals".  Will Dan go on to
one of those?  And where's he going to college?  I'd have to believe
that he'd continue wrestling...

It's an awesome achievement, both statistically and personally.  Huge
congrats to Dan, Steve, and Trish. All their considerable efforts week
after week, year after year, have come to fruition.  Nicely done!

Hats off to 170 pound Dan Spurgeon for winning the NYS wrestling
championship yesterday in Albany. Dan is the first state Champ from his
Plainedge school. He is the son of Towers GC Steve Spurgeon and his wife
Trish.
