ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE/ SENIOR ACCOUNT EXECUTIVE 

 
Dynamic, street-smart Manhattan-based boutique PR firm with a wide range of high-profile clients and projects seeks skilled publicist with four or more years pitch/place and account management experience. Candidates must be ready to assume day-to-day responsibility on accounts.

 
Successful candidates will be strategic thinkers with knowledge of the media, excellent writing skills, superior oral communications skills, and exceptional time management ability.

 
Candidates will be responsible for all aspects of account management including: developing, pitching and placing stories in a variety of media outlets including top tier print, electronic and trades; writing press releases and other communications materials; developing strategic plans; and managing multiple projects simultaneously.  Ideal candidates will have existing media contacts, ability to create and manage media lists, be familiar with managing press conferences and other events, and ability to manage clients’ social media programs as needed. Prior agency experience a plus.
