Dear Gotham,

 

Can someone discuss with my NYC client what her options are for getting out
from under the burden of a house in Sag Harbor that's now worth $100,000
less than the $600,000 she paid for it?

Her mortgage is $30,000 more than the market value; the broker's commission
would be $25 - 30,000 more.
