[Fredslist] Bravo to Joyce Gold on her presentation of NYC's early Dutch Origins

Gotham member Joyce Gold of Joyce Gold History tours of New York, LLC, made another fantastic presentation to those of us who attended her seminar last night in Fred's office.  Her encyclopedic knowledge and enthusiasm for the history of our city was evident.  We learned that NYC's diversity and commerce orientation was right there from the Dutch beginnings.  And who knew that the city's flag has a beaver in it!  (If you want to know why, you'll have to ask Joyce...)
