[Fredslist] Let's step up our Game Please

Hi Folks,

 

The Summer of Gotham Giving is a worthwhile. easy, and inexpensive way to
support the beloved charities we all want to see benefit. $20.00 per member
out of our pocket is not asking a lot.   We all want to spread the wealth to
support the numerous charities that Gotham holds dear in tough economic
times.  That is why we only asked for $20.00 for the Summer of Gotham
Giving.  

 

This is the Jewish New Year as well. It is a time of year to give thanks,
reflect, mend fences, and open our hearts. For many it is also the time of
year to mourn the loss of loved ones such as Wells Remy Crowther who lost
his life 9/11. He is a Gotham Son. His trust benefited from our efforts the
first year.  Tzedakah is the method in which that is accomplished.  Tzedakah
is Jewish for "Charity".  It is a way of life as is in many other homes and
religious or spiritual denominations. 

 

For those individuals and groups that have not given, thought twice, or felt
they are too dedicated to the charity of choice, won't you please consider
the next time you attend a Gotham meeting or event to bring a $20.00 bill.
If you can't attend, please consider sending $20.00 to Gotham City
Networking's 501(c)3 for the Summer of Gotham Giving. Send it in care of
Klein, Zelman, Rothermel, LLP 475 Madison Avenue, 15th Fl NY, NY 10025 Attn
Dana or Fred.

 

Remember there are 600+ of us. It can make a huge impact. That was why we
created the Summer of Gotham giving to begin with. So that many could create
a huge impact giving so very little.
