The NYS Forum, Inc. and the NYS CIO Council are pleased to announce  
that Das Velez, Executive Director of the Division of Minority and  
Women-Owned Business Development, will provide an update on the impact  
of the M/WBE legislation recently passed.

Geared to both vendor and agency procurement staff, this all-day  
session will focus on procurement laws; guidelines and basic  
components of a typical RFP for IT services; best practices for  
developing and structuring the RFP and the evaluation instrument; and  
how to avoid common pitfalls in developing and responding to RFPs.
