To the Gotham Community,

I happened to be in Joel Schnur's office yesterday morning, just hours after
the NY Times article came out with disparaging remarks about an organization
that he and his wife are associated with.  

Given the circumstances, we really didn't have much time to speak, but
watching Joel in action was better than anything he could say to demonstrate
his PR/political/crisis management expertise.  Later, he called to say that
the City Council Speaker had a press conference that afternoon declaring her
support of the organization and the council's funding of it. Joel said it
was on the NYT website.
