Long/Short Consumer Analyst/Sector Head

Job Description:
·         The candidate will work directly with the General Partner of the fund 
as the sector head for the entire consumer sector..  

 
·         The right candidate will have deep knowledge of most if not all 
subsectors of the consumer sector.
 
·         The candidate will be comfortable “reacting quickly” to corporate 
events within the consumer universe.
 
·         The right person will have both short term and long term actionable 
ideas. The fund tends to be very diversified, and the investments are across 
many different time horizons.
 
 
Qualifications:
·         Candidate must have a top tier educational background
 
·         Candidate must have at least 3 years experience on Buyside. (5-10 
total)
 
·         Candidate needs have strong command of consumer sectors.
 
·         Candidate must blend “deep-dig” analysis with “quick” idea-generating 
skills based on news/events
 
·         Candidate must possess top-flight written & verbal communication 
skills.
 
·         Experience in consumer Banking or sell side research is a plus.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Administrative Assistant/Office Manager is chiefly tasked 
to provide high-level administrative support by handling information requests, 
and performing clerical functions such as preparing correspondence, receiving 
visitors, arranging conference calls, and scheduling meetings for cutting-edge
outreach programs for Jewish teens across New Jersey. The Administrative 
Assistant/Office Manager must be someone who is careful, detail oriented and 
able to multi-task and prioritize duties.
 
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
· Prepare invoices, reports, memos, letters and other documents, using word 
processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software.
· Answer phone calls and direct calls to appropriate parties or take messages.
· Conduct research, compile data, and prepare papers for consideration and 
presentation by executives and committees.
· Attend meetings to record minutes.
· Read and analyze incoming memos, submissions, and reports to determine their 
significance and plan their distribution.
· Perform general office duties, such as obtaining supplies, maintaining records 
management database systems, and performing basic bookkeeping work.
· File and retrieve corporate documents, records, and reports.
· Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence, including faxes and

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2 years of previous office work experience.
· High school diploma or equivalent, preferred.
