[Fredslist] Labor Data for November

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics released its November jobs report on Friday – below are the highlights:
 
·         The unemployment rate fell from 9.0 percent in October to 8.6 percent in November
·         This is the nation’s lowest unemployment rate since March 2009
·         The private sector added 140,000 jobs over the month
·         Job gains for September and October were both revised upward (80K to 100K; 158K to 210K)
·         Sectors reporting the largest job gains included retail trade, leisure and hospitality, business services & health care
