Good Morning Along the Network,

As many of you know, my Mother died early Thursday morning after a massive stroke on Tuesday morning.  She never regained consciousness and was blessed to leave this world without knowing and without suffering.

So many of you sent beautiful e-mails which was a great comfort to me and my family.

Our Tribal Chief promised to look for a picture of my Mother at a Gotham meeting a number of years ago as a remembrance.  Janet Adler and Joel Schnur attended the funeral service.  Debbie "Sunshine" Lindner tried to make it but was walking for a cure for Alzheimer's.  Ester and Michael Horowitz met me at the restaurant following the burial and "rescued" me when my car died just outside the cemetery on Elmont Road.  

In the true spirit of Gotham, Robert Esposito and Bambe Levine tied for the most beautiful and empathetic e-mails.  There were so many runner-ups, you know who you are.

Marc Lawrence has the distinction of being the first responder.

It is the end of an era.  My Mother "checked out" and she will be remembered and missed.
