[Fredslist] Colleague moving to NJ needs to rent a house

A friend and colleague is relocating from North Carolina to NJ for business.
The following is what she is looking for as of June 1st:

 

Union County:  Scotch Plains, Westfield, Linden, Cranford  <-- are
recommended towns

South of Cranford:  Sayreville, E Brunswick, Union Beach, Old Bridge,
Spotswood (?), Matawan

Monmouth County, I'm told is okay too. Shrewsbury, Tinton Falls (where
Barbara lives), Red Bank, were recommended as being people friendly.

Stats:  I could probably do a rental up to $2200/month but if it's awesome,
I probably could go a little higher.  Let's talk.

Ideal: 4 bdrm, 2 bath; but 3 bdrm with finished basement might work out okay
for us (I'd probably have to take the basement); 1 1/2 baths would be
acceptable - we wouldn't like it, but we've done it before!  

Dream:  3 bdrm w/in-law suite (4th bdrm) would be soooo perfect for us, but
it's ok if that doesn't happen!

We have a 5-6 yr old indoor cat. None of us smoke & we don't do any drugs. 2
babies (3 & 16months) and 2 adult ladies (mother & daughter, but you know
that.).
