I must second Susan's previous comments of Michael Shapot's recent 
spotlight at Formica 1 on August 16th.  
Way to go Michael!   Anyone who knows Michael, knows what a fabulous Real 
Estate professional  he is.  His spotlight was simply "outstanding" and 
anyone not in attendance certainly missed out.

is a true professional and has a wealth of knowledge in realestate field.

Subject: [Fredslist] Gotham Formica I Meeting - June 16, 2010 

Hello to all.  I could not help but share with you our experience at the 
most recent Formica I meeting on June 16th.  Although attendance was not as 
full as the previous two meetings due to summer time, graduations and other 
committments, we still had an excellent meeting with high-end networking.  
Thank you to all who attended.   

  

Our Spotlight Speaker, Michael Shapot was dynamic and captivating.  Michael 
is the Relocation/Real Estate Specialist from Prudential Douglas Elliman.   
We all agreed he gave a   most facinating presentation!  We are only sorry 
you weren't all able to share in his interactive demonstration --  Michael 
was so engaging, he literally did role playing with the group and it not 
only gave us a tremendous amount of respect and understanding for what he 
does, but also gave us knowledge as to what is transpiring in the industry 
today.     

  

There were roles such as Buyer, Seller, Banker, Broker and Attorney.  
Coincidentally these roles were represented by members of our group who 
specialize in that very industry!  For instance, the Banker was Debra 
Washington from Sterling National Bank; our Real Estate Attorney was 
Carolyn Mann; Corey Millman played a role with a Financial aspect, which 
ties into his Ace Payroll Service specialty;  I was considered a Buyer and 
my guest, Gloria Maurer of Advanced Technologies was considered the Seller; 
Fred Klein stepped into the role of Attorney/Physician -- you can only 
imagine how his comedic talent was enjoyed by all...it was quite 
Gothamesque!    

  

Michael, I highly recommend you give a presentation in another Gotham 
Spotlight so others can benefit from your knowledge, as we did. Thanks 
again to everyone!  We hope to see some of you riding the circuit  at our 
next meeting, August 4th; we may be combining this meeting with another 
group, so stay tuned.
