To all you Yankee fans, my uncle, Bob Shepard, the  Yankees announcer, has passed today.  When I was 7 years old, too young to understand the magnitude of the privilege, he took me into the dugout to meet the players in the days of Mickey Mantle and Whitey Ford.  He will be missed.
