Both Joanne and I read this great book simultaneously and we both endorse it as a totally engrossing page turner from the very beginning. 

Author Hillary Jordan spent seven years writing it and to say the least, it was time very well spent. 

The book is set in the fertile Mississippi Delta just after WWII. 

I have a copy of the book to loan for someone who wants to participate in the book's discussion with the author. Details below.
