Yes, indeed, I may have a new lucky number.

I learned yesterday that Secrets of Eden will debut on the February 21st
New York Times bestseller list at # 6.

It will also debut on next week's Publishers Weekly bestseller list --
again at #6.

I am absolutely thrilled.

And I know this: It takes a village to write a novel (just look at the
acknowledgments in most of mine) and it takes a village to make one succeed
in the marketplace.

Secrets of Eden had such an extraordinary first week because of all of you.
You are the wondrous readers and booksellers who supported the book from
day one.  Thank you.
