Senior Treasury Accountant
Murex North America seeks a Senior Treasury Accountant, reporting to Senior Management, to execute and oversee our bookkeeping, financial reporting, internal audit, budget and forecasting functions.
Working with management, administration, overseas affiliates, staff and our external auditors, the incumbent will have considerable latitude and autonomy to discharge a variety of responsibilities, including:

 

- Managing our chart of accounts.
- Maintaining, recording and validating transactions. 
- Balancing ledgers.
- Preparing balance sheets, P/L statements, income, cash flow and other financial reports, regularly and on an ad-hoc basis, for senior management and partners

 

- Analyzing trends, costs, revenues, commitments, and obligations to predict future revenues and expenses. 
- Analyzing and offering suggestions about cash management and resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
- Reviewing accounting and financial data of various departments within an organization to ensure accuracy.
- Researching any issues and making recommendations to improve our policies or procedures accordingly. 
- Working with outside auditors to help support the external auditing function.
- Liaising with senior management and our accounting specialists at the Head Office in Paris to coordinate financial operations as necessary and appropriate.

 

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting. Masters degree preferred. 
4-6 years of experience in corporate accounting. 
Familiar with applicable GAAP, bookkeeping, financial accounting, audit and compliance. 
Fluency in English.  

Emotional maturity, diligence and unimpeachable professional ethics.
MS Office Suite, PeopleSoft or similar accounting software.

 

PAC Consultant

 

The PAC team’s main responsibilities are to work with clients and colleagues globally to optimize and stabilize the performance of Murex software, assuring that the product remains at a high standard.

 

As a PAC consultant, you will perform the following duties:   

· Work with our clients throughout the whole development lifecycle, including pre-sale, system presentation, installation, implementation, training, updates, etc.  

· Acquire expertise and master technical domains of the Murex platform 

· Take responsibility for training the clients to ensure their autonomy in the setting of parameters and product functionalities  

· Carry-out pre-defined tasks to ensure client satisfaction and build products and services  

· Diagnose technical and functional situations for the client by closely analyzing the situation, establishing links with the Murex platform, and acting accordingly  

· Support the client within own scope of responsibility development, testing, corrective measures, and improvement 

· Maintain constant written and verbal communication with clients and team members

· Monitor deadlines and priorities, clarity and precision of documentation, and quality and rigorousness of testing

· Write and distribute technical and functional documentation

· Complete project planning and support activities  

· Become aware of own limitations and capabilities, ask for explanations, build knowledge 

· Become be a key player in own career development

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Physics

2-4 years of customer service and support experience 

Strong C/C++/JAVA Programming Language experience

Strong UNIX / Linux Operating Systems experience 

SQL/Database experience

Coding skills

Software and system design skills 

Excellent documentation skills 

Absolute passion for computing

 

DESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE 

Oracle, Sybase, Shellscript, XML, ANT

An understanding of financial markets

Experience with all aspects of the development lifecycle 

Software architecture knowledge and experience 

Willingness to display flexibility in a fast-paced, ever changing working environment 

Willingness to travel 

Fluency in Spanish
