Dear Gotham,

Joel Schnur may be Jewish. Commendably so. But I think he has a slice of Santa's
spirit 365 days a year. His workshop is always humming. Turning out mitzvahs and
miracles 'round the clock. Take note.

Mistletoe and Mazel Tov to all,

Just one of Joe's fans.

Subject: [Fredslist] An Orthodox Gift for Christmas - Thanks to Joel

What do Joel Schnur and the Pope Have in Common Besides Both Wearing a Yarmulke?

The Answer is—access to the New York Archdiocese and St. Patrick’s Cathedral.

I recently sent around a Fredslist request for tickets to the Midnight Christmas
Mass at St. Pat’s and who came  through for me? Gotham’s own Orthodox Jew!

Tickets were no longer available but though a particular Monsignor, Joel got
access for my mom, me and one of her friends for tonight. My mother has never
been there to a holiday mass in her life and being able to attend tonight’s Mass
is just a wonderful Christmas present for her.

Just amazing!

I thought the Gotham folks would get a kick out of this magical Christmas
moment.

Best regards,

Sergio
