Job Functions:

Manage teams on specific trading products

New product development- market research, analysis, sales, team management

Sourcing and marketing (trading) projects

Managing designated foreign offices, including travel to those offices

Administrative projects as needed (for example, system implementation,
developing new reports, training, assisting in recruiting new traders)

 

Job Requirements:

CHEMISTRY OR CHEMICAL ENGINEERING DEGREE

15-20 years of marketing and sales experience in the chemical industry

Trading experience a place

International exposure

Experience building and managing teams

Detail-oriented

Excellent follow-up skills

High energy and intense

Assertive

Strong delegation skills

Well organized

Able to multi-task, analyze information and draw conclusions quickly,
communicate succinctly in meetings

 

Compensation $125,000-$175,000 plus bonus

 

2) SENIOR TRADER for chemical and plastics trading company, NYC

Responsible for trading activities to one or more products in the areas of
chemicals, plastics or petrochemicals.  Responsible for building and
managing a department which will support their trading activities.

 

Primary Job Duties:

Selling, marketing and sourcing chemicals, plastics or petrochemicals, using
extensive experience in trading in the chemicals, plastics or petrochemical
industries

Pursuing opportunities for growth within their specialty as well as new
opportunities that fit within the overall business, whether or not they are
currently being exploited

Travel as required to meet potential new suppliers and customers as well as
strengthen existing relationships

Building and managing their own department

Being able to work independently as well as in a team environment

 

Job Requirements:

CHEMISTRY OR CHEMICAL ENGINEERING DEGREE

20+ YEARS OF CHEMICAL/POLYMER TRADING

International exposure

Experience building and managing teams

Detail-oriented

Able to follow-up
