[Fredslist] question about workers comp and COBRA

I have a client who is receiving workers compensation
checks, but at the same time his company, after 180 days,
put him on COBRA.

I wonder how can someone "still be employed" and put on
COBRA.

 

Is there any law out there that allows or disallows this?
