[Fredslist] I want my computer to go faster

Hello Gotham,
Has anyone tried the online services that promise to clean up your files, remove spyware, cookies, salad etc and make the computer work faster? I wonder if the services really do improve the performance of a computer.
Mine is slow and freezes on occasion.
Two advertised services are
