Seeking Donations for A Great Cause: Earth

Gotham City Networking Foundation is now seeking donations to promote a great cause - our planet on Earth Day. All proceeds will be given at the Gotham Green Awards event on Earth Day, April 22nd to last year's non-profit category winner and Gotham member, Joel Chadabe - President of Electronic Music Foundation, and his initiative, Ear to the Earth 2010. All donors will receive honorable mention in the 2010 Gotham Green Awards event eProgram. Donations are tax deductible and may be made to the Gotham City Networking Foundation as a 100% pass-through contribution. The GCN Foundation will also provide some additional matching funds.

Here are a few words from Joel Chadabe about Ear to the Earth 2010

"Ear to the Earth 2010 is about understanding the current states of water in the world and our social and cultural attitudes towards water. We're interested in the sounds of water and/or sounds or performances that will make us aware of water. We want to direct attention to environmental issues relating to water, among them drinkable water, melting ice, rising sea levels, polluted rivers, overfishing, storm intensity, and salinity, to name a few." - Joel Chadabe, President
