[Fredslist] Questions about Obama's Cairo speech

I've watched Obama's speech at Cairo University the other day. I thought is
was a great speech, but I've got a couple questions:

1. About 7 minutes or so into his speech, he snapped his finger as he quoted
the following command from the Quaran "Be conscious of God and speak always
the truth." Obama's not a finger-snapping kind of guy and I'd never seen
him do that before, so I'm wondering what that gesture was about. Did it
have any signficance to a Muslim audience?

2. At the end of his speech, as he was leaving the stage, I could swear that
I heard some in the audience chanting "USA!, USA!" I can't believe that's
what they were really shouting. Does anyone know what they were really
chanting?

Thanks for any clarifications

Chris
