I too have to echo Jane and Annamarie's sentiments on our very own Mitch
Tobol, Gotham's Webmaster Extraordinaire. Mitch gave a superb
presentation on incorporating online social networking into the
marketing mix.  Working with a time constraint in a room full of
attorneys, Mitch's program clearly had a great impact on his audience.
He has graciously agreed to present again at the next meeting of Gotham
LI on Thursday March 5 at 8AM at the Milleridge Inn, so if you missed it
today you can attend next week.  The cost for guests is $25. Contact me
to clear any conflicts.

This morning the members of LI Legal had the pleasure of participating
in Mitch Tobol's talk on LinkedIn.

 

With an illustrative power point presentation accompanying his wonderful
delivery style, Mitch explained clearly how all  business people can
use LinkedIn to exponentially expand   their networking reach, how to
use various features on LinkedIn, tricks to increase  your company's
visibility on Google  and to understand the overall value of social
media -especially for businesses.  The only "criticism" expressed by me
and several others in the room...we wanted to hear more but time was up!

 

 Like it or not, Gothamites, social media is here to stay so we can
either learn about it and adapt to it or go the way of the buggy whip
and 8-track cassettes.  

 

If you have the opportunity to attend one of Mitch's presentations,
don't miss it.
