[Fredslist] Promo- SBA lending with a purpose, not just a mission

Our reputation as the creative, responsive and cost-effective partner is
what matters. Now that is a purpose not just a mission statement for me
to live with. 

 

The Stimulus Bill....addresses SBA loan programs.  The legislation
signed by the President this week contains various provisions which will
impact SBA lending including reduction of fees for both the 504 and 7(a)
programs, a business stabilization loan program to help small businesses
with the debt service on existing non-SBA loans, an increased guaranty
percentage and authority to refinance a portion of existing debt in
connection with a new project to expand or improve the property.  As
always the devil is in the details and these new programs all require
SBA guidance and regulation prior to implementation.  As your SBA
expert, we are watching this closely and will keep you posted as the SBA
addresses these issues.
