[Fredslist] Omni in DC - need help to fight Alzheimers - need some magic

Hi Gotham

Does anyone have any connections with the Omni Shoreham Hotel, 2500 Calvert
Street NW, Washington , D.C. 20008 - I am traveling to a Public Policy Forum
on Alzheimers (a subject that has touched home and become a cause for me)
and the hotel where the conference is taking place is the Omni and the rates
are very high - I am traveling with a group of 7 and we are looking to save
where we can as this is an expensive undertaking - hotels, travel, food,
attendance etc.

 

If you have contacts who can share a "friends and family" rate for me and my
fellow travelers, I would appreciate it - please know we are going to DC to
be the voice for those who can no longer speak for themselves because of
this horrific disease so your help to me helps me to help others - after
all, what goes around, comes around and it is always better to give than to
receive!
