SALES PERSON/MOVING COMPANY

 

Family owned and operated, full-service, residential moving and storage
firm with openings for aggressive self-starters to join our team. 

The ideal candidates will have strong communication skills, the ability
to build relationships with prospective clients, be self-motivated,
energetic, competitive, a team player, service-oriented, and have
exceptional work ethics and integrity. Strong technical/PC skills
beneficial, minimum of 2-3 years sales or marketing experience, moving
industry experience preferred, Bachelor's degree a plus. 

Duties for this position include, but are not limited to: 

* Meet with homeowners to sell and estimate local, interstate and
international moves 

* Make appointments with pre-qualified customers and generate estimates
at residence 

* Build potential business relationships 

* Build and generate new revenue 

* Identify new sources of business 

* Recommend new services to existing clients 

* Cold call new business prospects 

* Meet with clients & new business prospects 

* Communicate with clients during and after relocation process 

* Schedule and follow up with clients 

* Coordinate moves with Dispatch 

* Set appointments for surveys 

* Enter move information into computer 

* Perform a variety of administrative duties as necessary, i.e.
Certificates of Insurance, etc. 

Skills/Qualifications: 

Listening, Customer Service, Meeting Sales Goals, Selling to Customer
Needs, Product Knowledge, People Skills, Energy Level, Dependability,
General Math Skills, Verbal Communication, Job Knowledge. Must be
outgoing, dependable, able to work with all types of people and not be
afraid to "ask for the order". Industry experience is highly preferred.
