Summer Rental on Fire Island

I rent a 3 BR beach house in Fair Harbor, Fire Island located 75 yards from
the beach.  If you like the beach and are looking for some peace and quiet,
this is perfect.  There are no cars and island is less than 2 city blocks
wide between the bay and the ocean.  House is a 1.5 block walk from ferry
dock. 

Fire Island is 34 miles long so you can stroll down the beach as long and
far as you like.  It's really hard to believe that this place is so close to
New York City! On a clear day the ocean is as blue as it is in Miami Beach!

House is equipped with everything you need but your clothes and groceries. 
Fully equipped kitchen, all linens, fireplace, private wood deck with
outdoor grill, TV with DVD and VCR, bicycles to use.

If you don't want to cook there is a very good - and only one - restaurant
on the bay for dinners out.  You can also walk or bicycle to Fire Island
Lighthouse, and towns of Kismet and Saltaire.  Kismet has 2 restaurants and
bars.

Accessible by ferry boat from Bay Shore, Long Island.  The trip from NYC is
less than 1.5 hours to the ferry by LIRR train, car, or van service. 

June weekends:  $900
June midweeks: $900
July weekends: $1,200  (includes wk of June 29)
July midweeks: $1,700

Discount for full week.  Will consider package of several weeks/weekends.

OK to share with a group of friends or family. 

Dogs OK.
