[Fredslist] New Outdoor Teambuilding & Leadership Program for Girls!

Hi All -

Just wanted to give all those parents of daughters a heads up about a
wonderful program. The founder, Caitlin Dean (bio below) is an enthusiastic,
professional, wonderful woman who would be a great role model for our girls,
and whose passion for this endeavor will lead to much success for the

Description:  Girl Guides USA is a non-profit outdoor teambuilding and
leadership program for girls.  We're launching our pilot program this spring
for 6th-10th graders and we're currently looking for participants!  The
pilot program consists of two preparatory activities on Long Island in May
and June, and a two-week wilderness camp upstate in July.  Cost for the
program is $950.  

 

Founder Caitlin Dean, a 2005 graduate of Yale University, participated in
and led Girl Guides groups for years in Belgium and counts it as one of the
best experiences of her life.  Caitlin is thrilled to be bringing this
