[Fredslist] Recommendation: inexpensive location/rental close to NYC this week

Hi everyone,
 
Can anyone recommend an inexpensive location, no farther than about an hour or so from NYC in a quiet location, where someone could relax for a couple of days?  Of course there are the Hamptons etc... If anyone has a vacation home they would be willing to rent for a few days this week or know of someone, please let me know. The idea would be that the person would get to relax and be away from the hustle and bustle... while being on a budget.
