Greetings  Networkers,
 
This post is on behalf of my  good friend Peggy Stern, a consummate musician 
and delightful  performer.   Students have commuted two hours or more to  
study with Peggy, so she definitely has much to offer.  Now she's right  here in 
Manhattan.  She also created, co-produces and of course performs at  the annual 
Wall Street Jazz Festival in Kingston, NY, going strong for  5 years.


Well known jazz pianist & composer  Peggy Stern has recently opened her 
studio on NYC’s Upper West Side for  lessons. Classically trained, educated at 
Eastman and NEC, Peggy converted to  improvised music and is established in the 
world of Jazz, Latin, Brazilian and  original music.  As a teacher she 
specializes in bridging the divide  between written and improvised music.  Peggy has a 
clear, cogent and  unthreatening approach to improvisation, and welcomes 
students who already have  some piano/instrumental experience.  For more info,
