For those of you who are registered to vote this year, regardless of your
political persuasion, please vote in today's primary elections.  While the
parties' presidential tickets are now set, many State and local party
tickets remain incomplete.  Thus, your vote here is important.  State and
local governments play a very large role in our lives - particularly in the
arena of taxes and quality of life.  Many of our troops today and those who
have preceded them died to protect our right to vote.  Please utilize this
right in accordance with your beliefs as true democracy depends on our
honesty in the voting booth.
