[Fredslist] FDIC account rules update

Dear Gotham members:

The Suffolk County Corporations and Commercial Law Committee will be having two meetings in November, and everyone is invited.

On Monday, 11/3/08 at noon, the Corporations and Commercial Law Committee be having a joint lunch meeting with the Taxation Law Committee to discuss the new FDIC account rules.  

Donna Lillie, Vice President of the Bank of Smithtown, will lead the discussion about the application of FDIC rules to joint accounts, trust accounts, escrow accounts and corporate accounts.  Come and see why all attorneys and asset protection planners should be aware of the dangers and pitfalls under the new FDIC rules.

On Wednesday, November 12, 2008, at 5:30 p.m.***, the Corporations and Commercial Law Committee will meet.  Thomas A. O'Rourke, from Bodner & O'Rourke, will provide us with an overview of patents, trademarks and copyright. Hope you can make it.
