Happy Thanksgiving Gotham.
I am not even going to attach this resume as a document. I am going to put
it right out there in front of all you attorneys so you don't even have to go
to the extra effort of downloading it.
This amazing young woman, Rebeca Oliver, graduates from NYU Law in June. Her
resume tells most of her story. What it does not reveal is that she has
never known her father, who has been incarcerated all of her life, that she
communicates with, but is not close to her mother, or her mother's other four
kids, and that she has faced adversity for her entire life, and overcome it.
She was "sent" to me by the former Vice Chancellor at Syracuse University
with the message to watch over her. She does not require being watched over.
She is tall, slim, beautiful, dresses very well, speaks English perfectly
(although it is not her first language) and will be, for anyone smart enough to
grab her now, an amazing addition to any law firm.
Her interests, at this moment in life are, general corporate law, tax,
banking or investment, project finance, energy, bankruptcy, contact
drafting/negotiation, and anything international.
Run, do not walk. I rarely get excited about anyone at the level I am
excited about this rare person.
