On April   23, 2009 Gotham City Networking will be presenting its premiere
Gotham City Networking Green Awards (GOtham Green Awards) to three
organizations in the tri-state area (New York, New Jersey, Connecticut) that
are making this a more sustainable world.

Nominations are now being accepted and must be made by current Gotham
members.  Nominations close at 5pm on November 15, 2008 (4 days to go,
including today).

Categories include:

§  Green Business Award (nominees must be Gotham members) 

§  Green Initiative Award (business nominees must be Gotham members;
nonprofits can be non-members)

§  Green Community-based Organization Award (nominees can be non-members and
must serve a local constituency)

The definition of Green for these awards is:  practices, activities and
techniques that reduce and ultimately eliminate negative impacts on the
environment and human health.
