4 or 8 Weekends - 75 Yards to the Beach

Forget the Hamptons!
My 3 BR beach house in Fair Harbor, Fire Island is available for weekend
rentals of 4 or 8 alternating weekends (throughout the summer) for your
group or family. Midweek rentals also available. 

House is 75 yards to the beach and equipped with everything you need for a
nice beach vacation ­ just bring your bathing suit. (OK, I exaggerate, but
not by much.)

If you know Fair Harbor skip this paragraph, but if you don't...
Fair Harbor, Fire Island is one of New York's best kept secrets and, in my
opinion, the nicest spot in Fire Island. As pretty and serene as Cape Cod,
but very easy to get to from NYC (under 2-1/2 hours total travel by Long
Island Railroad, van service, or car + ferry boat). There are no cars and
deer roaming free on this 34 mile-long island, i.e. you can stroll down the
beach as long as you like. You can roll out of bed and ramble down the beach
in your pajamas ... it's that casual in Fair Harbor. No noise, fresh air,
ocean, beach, bay, rustic setting... ahhh! Very safe for kids allowing more
freedom for them, and for you.

The House 
House is not luxurious but very light, airy and comfortable fully equipped
with everything you need, a nice beach vacation including fireplace, private
deck, well-equipped kitchen, outdoor gas grill, large outdoor shower,
bicycles, TV/VCR/DVD, WIFI, CD player, all sheets, towels, staples, and
utlities included. Kid-friendly. Group or Family OK.

Cost
 $5,800 for 4 weekends, $11,600 for 8 weekends  ­ in most cases you can get
a holiday weekend included with this. 

Shares
If interesting in sharing: Includes all house expenses except for weekend
groceries and maid fee which everyone present on a weekend will split. We
usually make a nice dinner together on Saturday nights ­ that is the norm
for Fair Harbor share houses as there is only one restaurant in town.
Everything else is pretty loose. It's definitely for weekend chilling,
beach, reading, running (or yoga on the beach) and good eating, R&R. Share
with me and my tiny, friendly dog. I¹m an artist and have a business of
second-hand, designer and vintage clothing. I¹m laid back and easy
going. Dog OK too. 

Shares $1,000 each for 4 weekends, sharing a room. 2 People together for
$1,800.
