Subject: Illustrator for highly illustrated book for young readers

I'm looking for an illustrator for a black and white project, with lots of
young girls, that would be cute and fun (actually also funny) but with maybe
a bit of edge or hipness, as well.

If you're one of the illustrators that I already represent and you have
samples that fit what I'm describing above, then please email me with some
samples or email me a link to see samples online.  If you know of other
illustrators who might fit the bill (whether they are agented or not), then
please also feel free to put them in touch with me.

I'm starting to get more interest in the category of highly illustrated
books for young readers (some examples of this new category Brian Selznick's
Hugo Cabret, new formats like Diary of a Wimpy Kid, Clementine, younger
graphic novels like Baby Mouse and Fashion Kitty), and am looking for
illustrations/writers for these kind of projects generally, as well as for
the project I mention above.
