A successful hedge fund seeks to hire a compliance associate with one to three years of compliance experience.  A qualified candidate must have experience with the Investment Advisors Act of 1940 and ideally with preparing 13G filings.  Experience with surveillance of trading activities is also helpful.  Responsibilities include developing policies to ensure compliance with appropriate legal and risk management standards; updating the compliance manual, code of ethics, and employee manual; corporate due diligence; preparing drafts of SEC filings (including 13G filings); tracking and monitoring blue sky and ERISA requirements; etc.  The fund offers good opportunities for growth.
