[FredsList] Seeking CPG (health/drug) manufacturer's sales reps

My former colleague and close friend Howard is seeking salespeople for his
product line.  

 


Looking for a CPG manufacturer's representative 

Howard is launching an all-natural product that is a good fit for the Health
Food channel and Drug channel (think about Airborne's fit for the two
channels, although it is a different category). He has gotten positive
feedback on the product, positioning, pricing, and packaging from several
retailers and he is generating volume online. However his West-Coast based
sales rep (who is focused exclusively on the Drug channel) has not been able
to dedicate enough time to this project so Howard is looking to put together
a network of sales reps with established connections.  Can anyone recommend
a salesperson that is experienced and excited to launch a new product?
Ideal fit would be representatives in the Northeast that can help him gain
distribution in the Health Food Channel and traditional channels, especially
Drug (Duane Reade would be ideal).
