The tasks and skills we require include:

1) Sales/Marketing personality - must realize that every-day contact 
with clients (including real estate brokers, builders/developers, 
landlords, investors, warehouse users, architects, engineers, company 
owners, etc.) is a sales situation

2) Proposal Preparation - will learn how to gather information (either 
from building drawings, data forms, on-site measurement, etc.) in order 
to produce in-house sketches and data forms for submission to 
engineering/estimating department; will visit sites within the NY-NJ-CT 
area, to meet clients and measure structural components.

3) Project Management - monitor progress on active projects; help 
coordinate services being provided by other subcontractors, and solve 
problems as they arise

4) Basic Computer skills - familiarity with MS Word, and Excel is 
assumed; simple CAD or sketching program knowledge would be helpful; 
ability to work with basic digital photos

5) Communication - must speak well to groups, and maintain intelligent 
written correspondence with potential and existing clients, throughout 
stages of Meetings, Proposals, Contracts, Project Management, etc.

6) Advertising - evaluate results of existing print and web based 
advertising

Initially, this is a part-time position with flexible timing. However, 
its intention is to rapidly develop a full-time entrepreneurial 
candidate, creating the next generation of operations for this privately 
held company.
