Raj - and all interested providers of CLE courses to lawyers:

I have done lots of CLE (and CPE) over the years and considered becoming a
provider myself. It seemed an arduous process when NY State went mandatory
for lawyers. They were a year behind in certifying, so I decided not to do
it.

However, my company, Practice Development Counsel, has become a Content
Partner for the West LegalEdCenter ((part of Thomson/West Reuters). Now I
have the capability not only to provide webcasts for which I am an expert,
but I also can produce webcasts with other people's expertise.

So if any of you Gothamites out there have courses that provide legal
education for lawyers and would qualify for CLE credit, contact me and we
can explore getting your course or idea offered on the West LegalEd Center.
WLEC arranges the CLE credit.

One caveat: the rules have been changed so that in order for a program to
get CLE credit, at least one speaker must be a lawyer. You don't have to be
a lawyer, but there must be a lawyer included on the program panel.
