[Fredslist] FW: Judy Mines- a Gotham Treasure to be Mined (groan)

Fellow Gotham Members:

 

I finally got to meet the famous Judy Mines. I had seen her name on so many
Fredslists  and knew about her Batman baseball career, as well, but we never
had the opportunity to meet formally-or is it informally?

 

We laughed about the common problem we share-- that many people don't
understand what our respective firms do and hopefully, together, have worked
out a better pitch. While her work is mainly geared to servicing litigation
firms that need support services in digesting, organizing and retrieving
documents, both hard copy and hard drive, she also made me aware of another
area that we all might be helpful to her.

 

And that is document management for not-for-profits!

 

Many of us are involved with a host of not-for-profit organizations and ALL
of them would be wise to set up a system for retaining and retrieving the
numerous documents that are required to be retained for up to 7 years
minimum by local, state and federal agencies, during the course of normal
business. 

 

All the best going into the Labor Day weekend and beyond.
