Job Title: Director/VP, Operations
Company Description: Mobile marketing firm based in NYC dedicated to delivery of LIVE VIDEO service to mobile devices.
Pay Description: $75,000 to $100,000 plus bonus
Job Description: Established wireless technology group based in Manhattan in search of a dedicated technical professional to pioneer and manage our Operations department. Our company specializes in delivering Live Video to mobile devices.

Responsibilities include:

* Installing, monitoring and maintaining critical systems
* Implementing highly available and efficient systems, including understanding and comfort with the applications running on the systems
* Participating in capacity planning reviews; owning the improvement of our processes, interacting with internal customers and partners
* Providing critical on-call technical support and technical consultation to internal staff.

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have excellent knowledge of TCP/IP networking, advanced performance analysis, and common network services. Experience with a wide variety of systems, in particular Linux (Windows, UNIX variants and Networking helpful), is preferred.
Programming skills (C, Ruby preferred; C++, C#, Java, Python also helpful)
A degree in computer science or equivalent experience.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills and a successful track record of coordinating and managing deadline-driven projects to completion: This position will immediately step into a leadership role in our organization.
