[Fredslist] Any connections at Columbia admissions?

My daughter is on the wait list at Columbia School of Nursing. She graduated
with honors from UC Berkeley with a 3.6 GPA. The only reason she is on the
wait list is because her transcripts arrived late from CAL. Can anyone use
their Gotham magic and get her to the top of the list?
