Marketing Communications Manager


MyStrands seeks a Marketing Communications Manager to position the
Company as the market leader and to generate external market demand for
Company products and services.


Responsabilities to include


    * Lead Generation: Work closely with the Sales Groups to develop
more effective lead generation in the U.S., Europe and Asia. Create and
manage demand generation programs
    * Events: Manage Company presence and participation at key trade
shows and industry conferences; coordinate company-sponsored seminars,
and other lead-generation events
    * Marketing Collateral: Manage the development of all
product/service sell sheets, presentations, corporate media kits,
internal and external newsletters and reports
    * Coordination with Product Development: tight coordination with
Product Development to ensure all product and service collaterals
leverage the features and benefits of such services as such products and
services are being prepared for market release
    * Website: Manage and maintain corporate business solutions website
in collaboration with internal technical resources; manage all web-based
initiatives (e.g. search engine optimization; e-marketing, online lead
generation and qualification)
    * Public/Analyst Relations: Assist in coordination of activities in
collaboration with external PR firm and company management, including
posting/distributing press releases, PR website management, assisting
with managing speaking opportunities
    * Corporate Image: Assist with implementation and maintenance of
effective standards for powerful corporate image and brand recognition.
Coordinate consistent look and feel of company brand across all internal
and external communication on a global basis


Experience Required


    * 3 to 5 years experience working with Sales, Client Services,
Corporate Development and Product Marketing Groups to design, write and
create collateral, presentations and other sales support items
    * Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, especially
messaging and writing skills, with ability to understand and translate
product and service offerings into compelling market specific customer
benefits
    * Demonstrated initiative, superior project management and budgeting
skills, and the ability to undertake complex initiatives with minimal
supervision
    * Multi-tasking skills necessary to thrive in a fast-paced,
environment. Team player, proven ability to get along with, influence,
and motivate others
    * Broad experience in graphics design, copywriting, and production
of marketing literature (both in print and electronic mediums).
    * Ability to manage the creative process with freelancers and/or
design agencies. Desktop publishing skills a plus (e.g. Photoshop, Adobe
Illustrator, etc.)
    * Hands-on experience managing trade shows and event marketing
logistics
    * Experience managing corporate website presence, knowledge of an
HTML authoring tool a plus


Education


BA/BS in Marketing, Business Administration, or English, Journalism,
Graphics Design, or Computer Science






Director of Product Management


Overview of Position


The Director of Product Management is responsible with leading the
end-to-end ownership of MyStrands Business Solutions products. His/Her
mission will be to manage and provide best of breed, forward thinking,
and interactive business products that can be easily monetized in the
marketplace.


Responsibilities


    * Develop and manage the company's suite of business products,
competitive product positioning and long-term product roadmap
    * Prioritize new products and product enhancements based upon
feedback from Sales, Operations, Senior Management and market research
    * Translate marketing and business requirements into detailed and
complex Product Specifications
    * Responsible for gathering initial business requirements and
creating business requirement documentation
    * Collaborate with technical development and operations team to
scope new products and enhancements to existing products
    * Create business justification documentation including expected
development costs and expected sales/benefit (ROI) for presentation to
senior management
    * Work closely with sales, business development and marketing to
shape messaging and communication of new product initiatives to the
market place
    * Lead efforts to develop product documentation for use in the sales
process
    * Educate Sales, Business Development, prospects and customers on
upcoming product capabilities
    * Instrumental in product concept development (wire framing,
mock-ups, functional specs, etc)
    * Proactively provide status reports to management about products in
the development pipeline
    * Manage large-scale projects, as well as day-to-day operations of
various product lines
    * Own the creation, planning and logistics of product specific
roadmaps


Technical Skill Level


    * Thorough understanding of Internet, mobile and emerging
technologies and trends, particularly in digital media
    * Must have a creative/technical background that will allow you to
evaluate product issues effectively
    * Able to quickly learn new technologies and techniques to apply
them


Qualifications


    * 5-7 years experience building B2B or consumer-facing
software/internet products
    * Strong organizational skills with experience managing multiple
projects
    * Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
    * Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, rapid growth environment
    * Proven ability to meet deadlines
    * Strong writing skills and excellent verbal communication a must
