[Fredslist] Gotham Green - first meeting update

Dear Gothamites,

 

Gotham Green had its first meeting on Thursday, May 24 and it was a lively
meeting indeed!  Eighteen people attended and there was a wide variety of
green businesses represented, such as marketing, box manufacturing,
insurance, real estate, building, litigation, textiles, the nonprofit sector
and architecture.  It was exciting to feel the "green" vibes from all in
attendance and lively discussions ensued on a diverse range of topics.  We
also began a discussion of what Gotham Green's mission will be, although
this is still evolving.

 

Membership applications were distributed and the processing of formalizing
the group has begun!  The next meeting will be on Thursday, July 12 from
12:30pm to 2pm at a location to be determined (The Friars Club is closed on
