As a member of its Board of Directors, I would like to extend a special
invitation to all car-loving Gothamites to attend the fourth annual
Scarsdale Concours d'Elegance (which is a fancy word for antique,
classic and exotic car show), to be held on June 10th.  For details and

This is one of the premier Spring shows in the New York Metropolitan
Area, featuring magnificent one-of-a-kind American and European classics
from the 1920s and newer, as well as 1930s, 40s and 50s cars.  In
addition, there are wonderful themed collections of exotic and sports
cars, which are just amazing.  Last year, the featured car in this class
was the Maserati that won the 1957 Le Mans race that had been re-bodied
at the factory from racing form to an achingly beautiful coupe.  You
could even purchase it for only $7 million (floor mats included).

 

All proceeds are donated to charity.  If you're coming by train from New
York, get off at Scarsdale, and the show is across the street from the
station.  Looking forward to seeing many of you there.
